This program consists of a series of tours and seminars focusing on the artistic and monumental heritage of the city, and its condition as the capital of Catalonia. The tour will be an approach to the history of Barcelona and especially to the urban and politically development of the city.

The program will start with a promenade around Barcelona city center to indicate to you some of the most relevant spots of the historical neighborhoods of Barcelona to understand its historic evolution and the formation of a center of political and ecclesiastic power around Plaça Sant Jaume. We won’t miss the significance of Las Ramblas, where we will discuss the geographic conditions of the Barcelona area.
